Directions by car
At Autobahnkreuz Stuttgart (the Stuttgart motorway interchange, exit 51, Vaihingen), take the A831, direction «Stuttgart-Mitte». Leave at the «Universität» exit. At the traffic lights on the bridge, turn left, toward «Universität». Follow Universitätsstraße, then turn right onto Nobelstraße. At the end of Nobelstraße (roundabout), turn right onto Büsnauer Straße (first exit). Follow Büsnauer Strasse and turn right onto Heisenbergstraße, where you can park your car.

From Stuttgart Main Station:
Take lines S1, S2 or S3 of the Underground («S-Bahn»), in the direction of «Herrenberg» or «Flughafen». Get off at «Vaihingen».
From Stuttgart Airport:
Take lines S2 or S3 of the Underground («S-Bahn»), directions «Schorndorf» or «Backnang». Get off at «Vaihingen». At «Vaihingen» station (here you can also take a taxi) change to bus line 81 (toward «Büsnau») and get off at «Max-Planck-Institute».
